Infrastructure and Facilities

Classroom Blocks and Buildings:

Jagiroad College offers adequate and updated infrastructure for all internal stakeholders. The college houses two beautiful classroom blocks for students of Arts stream. They are suitably christened as the Kalang and Kapili Blocks after the two perennially flowing tributaries of the Brahmaputra . The killing Block houses the distinctively Update laboratories , classroom and departmental  common rooms of teachers of the science stream. mayaang Block houses the CIC , IGNOU study Centre and the girls common room . Dr Subhas Saha Memorial Block houses The  departmental  common rooms of teachers of the arts stream and cozy Guest House of the college 

The Central Library :

The three storied Central Library houses a spacious reading hall for teachers and major Students. It has a rich  collection of 18 thousand of books. journals magazines, CDs etc . Computerization of its service are well under way. The Expansion of the library has provided ample space for upgradation and modernization.

Computer Center :

The  college has sophisticated air condition Computer Center with 30 computers for running the PGDCA , Degree level vocational courses , H.S. students and other short term programmes during vacations. A rapid expansion under the buniyad scheme of government of Assam has augmented further modernisation of the computer center with a provision of 50 more computers.

Cultural Museum:

A unique cultural museum has been developed by the teachers of the college and it is located in the expanded section of the central library .

Departmental Libraries :

Every Department of study of the college has a separate library  of their own. Books are issued to both teachers and students specially of major courses.

Conference Room

The Conference - cum- seminar room of the college is an active center for holding brain storming session among the stuff and the student.

Auditorium:

A sprawling 8000 sq.ft. auditorium has come up for smooth of organization of event and activities throughout the session .

Hostel :

The Swapna Mojika double storied Girl's Hostel with an intake capacity of 80 offers excellent facilities of cozy and comfortable stay. The Zone Beel R.C.C. Boys Hostel with an intake capacity of 50 students also provides a conducive environment for academic  pursuits of  its inmates.

Gymnasium

The college has a 16 station multy Gymnasium near the college auditorium it also houses the yoga center of the college.

Canteen :

The College authority has set up a good canteen that offers its service to the students and the staff of the college .

Non Resident Students Center :

A   Non Resident Students Center has already come up along with the auditorium .It caters to the diverse recreational need of  Non Resident Student like two T.T. boards , chess etc.

Community Hall :

A sprawling Community hall has come up inside the premises with active collaboration and assistance from the H.D.F.C and R.G.V.N. It is equipped with the traditional handlooms for the use of girl students.

Parking Sheds :

The college has covered bi-cycle and scooter stands for students and their staff . A seperate - wheeler parking lot has also been curved out .
